DreamLarge Invites Students, Mentors, and Nonprofits to Participate in New Initiative
DreamLarge, local changemaking organization and the first benefit corporation in the Gulf Coast, will host the inaugural DreamLarge Weekends. A new initiative consisting of a weekend-long experience that empowers the next generation to ideate and prototype solutions to meaningful challenges Sarasota’s nonprofit community is facing.

Coding Academy Grant is a Key Win in Closing Tech-Skills Gap
State College of Florida Manatee-Sarasota was awarded a $3.6 million grant by the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity to create a Center for Advanced Technology and Innovation in the old SCF library on the Bradenton campus and a regional coding academy that will include a location in downtown Sarasota.

Education Foundation Moves Hackathon to DreamLarge
The Education Foundation of Sarasota County announced today they are partnering with DreamLarge, the philanthropic arm of local innovation agency ATLARGE, which will assume production of #SRQHacks, a free, three-day hackathon focused on engaging students in technology, entrepreneurship, design and marketing.

Creative Conference Returns for Fifth Year in December
The creative conference PINC (People, Ideas, Nature, Creativity) will return for its fifth year from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 6. The event, created by DreamLarge, the philanthropic arm of the web development company AtLarge, and presented by Ringling College of Art and Design, is intended to present a diverse selection inspiring, creative speakers.
