The People, Ideas, Nature and Creativity event has drawn international speakers for 15 years to a town in The Netherlands. But on Nov. 6, coincidences and Sarasota's cultural and innovative qualities and personalities will bring the first U.S. PINC here.

Described as "an inspiring cascade of new ideas, great and impressive visual presentations," PINC will be a day-long brain dump of thought and inspiration at the Gompertz Theatre at Florida Studio Theatre, capped by a dinner at The Francis.

What brought PINC here?

PINC's Dutch founders, Peter and Nelleke van Lindonk, visited Sarasota for years on trips to the states. Peter van Lindonk liked the town's circus background because he was ringmaster for Christmas circuses. Their son, Olivier, studied sports management in the states, interned with Nick Bollettieri and now is a sports agent at IMG.

The senior van Lindonks were at a party at their son's Sarasota home and met local entrepreneur Anand Pallegar. PINC. Sarasota is the result.
