ATLARGE Recognized by Local Florida Public Relations Association
ATLARGE Wins Three Image Awards for Communications Excellence. The Agency’s Image Award wins include the Grand All Image Award and Award of Distinction.
SARASOTA, Fl
ATLARGE, a progressive communications firm located in Sarasota dedicated to helping brands “be known,” was recognized by the Central West Coast Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (CWC-FPRA) at the annual Image Awards. Held every year, the Image Awards recognizes the best practices and campaigns in public relations and communications.
ATLARGE was presented with three awards for the team’s recent communications projects, including: an Image Award for The Bay, public affairs campaign; Award of Distinction for “Ask The Bay,” an online audience engagement web series for The Bay; and the event’s top honors, the Grand All Image Award for The Bay’s overall communications campaign. The Bay, which will conserve 53-acres of city-owned land along Sarasota Bay, will be developed into an iconic public park and will be completed in five or more phases over a 10-15-year period.
Over the past year, ATLARGE worked with The Bay Park Conservancy, the non-profit organization that is overseeing the implementation of the park’s master plan, to develop and execute a multi-faceted communications campaign with the goal of educating and informing the broader community about The Bay project. This campaign, along with various community workshops and outreach initiatives, ultimately helped generate broad public support for The Bay’s Phase 1 implementation plan, which is currently underway and in progress.
“The Bay is a special project that will have a lasting impact on our community for generations to come and our team is beyond proud to be involved,” said Heather McLain, Director of Communications, ATLARGE. “It’s an honor to be recognized by our industry and our peers for the work we’ve accomplished for The Bay and we look forward to seeing the project fully realized in the years ahead.”
Once complete, The Bay will be the first signature park in the city’s history and will be the only major amenity in Sarasota that will be open, accessible, free and welcoming to everyone in the community. Ultimately, The Bay will be part of a long-term master plan for the Sarasota Bayfront area that will establish a cultural and economic legacy for the region, while ensuring open, public access to the Bayfront.
